A Hitch-hiker dominated week where I ended up at the hospital every day despite everything being totally fine. Mr B tested his hamstring and there's crazy week at work from the 8th.
Track and Travel.
A fantastic trip to see the team from Limassol Marathon which consisted of a lot of eating and a little running! More cross training, less running sadly but feeling good on it. Mr B is getting paster all the time, he's getting faster all the time.
The week started badly with an easy run that felt easy, then got twinge-y and then included and unscheduled meeting between knees and pavement. Hobbled home feeling sad for myself but very glad that the hitch-hiker was is no danger at any point (also had a hospital appointment anyway that afternoon which was a nice extra check). PSOAS / groin still giving me grief so took extra rest days towards the end of the week. Hoping this isn't the beginning of the end, as I'm really craving hard runs and sessions now. Sigh. Still, I can make it to track and I can live vicariously through Mr B, who put in a great showing at the London XC Championships on a drizzley Parliament Hill on Saturday. It was great to be on cheer-duties with Simon and Lorna.
