Hi there, my name is Gill. 

I do most of my running on my own as a run-commute to my day-job in central London. 

I started running in 2014 and ran my first marathon in Mablethorpe in 2011 when my husband and I decided we wanted to run London Marathon but didn't want to go through the ballot, so we trained for Good For Age entry.

I started training more seriously in 2015 for the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon after winning a competition with Athletics Weekly to document my training journey for them. You can read that story here.

I run with Advent Running, and occasionally with Harrow Athletics Club and BBC Running Club. My training plan is written by Ben at Full Potential.

I live in North London with my husband and two cats. I'm part of Euston Church, I also write a baking blog and write for various other outlets including Rangemaster UK.
