Training Log: 16 - 22nd April 2018

Mon 16th - Mr B: Rest // Me: Nothing

Tue 17th - Mr B: 10 minutes Warm Up, 2 x 6 minutes at Threshold effort with a 90 second recovery, 10 minutes Cool Down // Me: Track! 3x 5x400 off 1min per rep and 3 min per set

For track I did a full 5, then took middle one off in second two sets. I'm pretty sure I was slower than when I was 36 weeks pregnant. Breathing is more laboured and I felt stompy but it was great to be out and to see the Harrow gang.

Wed 18th - Mr B: Rest // Me: 30 mins swim with back to back front crawl lengths
I'd like to be able to get to the point where I can not stop at the end of each length to breathe, but at the moment, doing back to back front crawl lengths without switching to back / breaststroke on alternate lengths is an improvement.

Thu 19th - Mr B: 30 Mins easy and stretch // Me: Nothing

Fri 20th - Both: Off to wander round the expo and collect race number

Sat 21st - Mr B:20 minutes Easy Run + Strides // Me: 30 mins easy in the hot heat!
Tag in, tag out as we did runs one after the other on a very warm Saturday morning and Mr B contemplated a rather hot London marathon.

Sun 22nd - Mr B: London Marathon // Me: Out all day with Mini B in the sling watching VLM
I'll try and get Mr B to do a race review, but from my point of view I think he paced it brilliantly. He *says* he didn't enjoy it after mile 7 but he's already talking about next year.
