Training Log: 27th June - 3rd July 2016

Well, one of my challenges to myself this year is complete. 100miles run in the space of a week and nothing broken or injured in the process. Oh, and a race at the end of it. Love this stuff. I still have no idea how you can do that mileage in one day though. I shall find out sometime, but that's a challenge for another day. In the meantime, here's my week...

Training: 25th April - 8th May 2016

Two weeks in one go, because post Marathon recovery doesn't make for interesting reading. Normal service will be resumed next week.

Monday 25th April - Monday 2nd May

Some brisk walks and then spending the long weekend in Disney Land Paris with family. Making sure I had a good break and the family don't have to put up with my running for once!

Back at work, lovely evening...too good to resist but wasn't sure I was ready to hit track yet so ran home. It has been so long that I forgot the route and ended up going the hilly way. Despite taking it very easy I did have rather burn-y quads by the end.

Miles: 9.2

Weds 4th

Resting after yesterday! Being good and playing it safe.

Thurs 5th

25mins cross training crammed into my lunchbreak. Despite not being as much fun as running I felt a LOT less stiff after it.

Friday 6th

Beigel run! Back in the game with the AdventRunning crew. We run every Friday before work from Beigel Bake on brick lane.
