Hot hot hot! It's been a sweaty week, hasn't it? 3x5x400m was a tough one on Tuesday but I got through it and Mr B and I ran our first ever race *together* (as opposed to racing each other) thanks to the ever fantastic Maverick Race

2 weeks rest, another week very low level and then finally back into training. It was great to have a break and enjoy Christmas but it was nice to know I was still itching to get out there again. Here's what the tail end of 2016 looked like.

Not much to see here as it's a recovery week. Normally I'd be itching to run sooner but given the 3 in three months plan, I'm taking it VERY easy this time. Autumn is here though, which makes me very excited. It's my favourite time of year to run. Blue skies, crunchy leaves and that fresh bite to the air.
